Mrs. Wagners Chocolate Cake

Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup oil
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 cup milk
Recipe
- 1 mix all dry ingredients in a large bowl and make a "well" (indentation) in the center.
- 2 pour the oil and hot water into the dry ingredients and mix to incorporate.
- 3 mix milk & eggs together in a separate bowl, then combine with the other ingredients.
- 4 note: the cake batter is more liquid than the batter from a box mix.
- 5 pour batter into a greased & floured cake pan (oblong, or two round pans) and bake 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes.
