Maple-peanut Butter Waffles With Peanut Buttery Maple Syrup

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 1/4 cups skim milk
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Recipe

  • 1 for the syrup, combine 1/2 cup pure maple syrup, 1/4 cup peanut butter, and 1 t butter in a small saucepan over low heat.
  • 2 stir frequently until warm and well blended.
  • 3 for the waffles, cream 1/2 cup peanut butter and 2 t butter in a large bowl.
