Maple-peanut Butter Waffles With Peanut Buttery Maple Syrup

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 1/4 cups skim milk
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
- 1/4 cup peanut butter
- 1 tablespoon butter
Recipe
- 1 for the syrup, combine 1/2 cup pure maple syrup, 1/4 cup peanut butter, and 1 t butter in a small saucepan over low heat.
- 2 stir frequently until warm and well blended.
- 3 for the waffles, cream 1/2 cup peanut butter and 2 t butter in a large bowl.
- 4 add the milk, maple syrup, and vanilla and blend until smooth.
