Lemon Strawberry Trifle

Total Time: 4 hrs 20 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 4 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 4 cups boiling water, divided
  • 1 (6 ounce) package strawberry jell-o gelatin dessert
  • 1 (6 ounce) package lemon jell-o gelatin
  • 2 cups cold water, divided
  • 4 cups cubed poundcake
  • 2 cups sliced fresh strawberries
  • 2 cups whipped topping

Recipe

  • 1 in separate bowls, stir 2 c boiling water into each flavor of jello until completely dissolved.
  • 2 stir 1 c cold water into each bowl.
  • 3 pour into separate 9" square pans and refrigerate 3 hours or until firm.
  • 4 cut into 3/4" cubes.
  • 5 place lemon cubes in trifle bowl, then layer with cake cubes, strawberries and whipped topping.
  • 6 cover with strawberry jello cubes.
  • 7 refrigerate for at least 1 hour or until serving.
  • 8 garnish with additional topping and strawberries for decoration.
