Lemon Squares

Total Time: 1 hr Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 40 mins

Ingredients

• 1 lemon cake mix (any kind)
• 1/4 lb melted margarine (, i use butter)
• 1 egg
• 8 ounces softened cream cheese
• 2 eggs
• 2 3/4 cups sifted icing sugar

Recipe

• 1 grease and flour 9x13-inch pan.
• 2 mix cake mix, melted margarine, and 1 egg together; press into prepared pan.
• 3 mix cheese, 2 eggs and icing sugar together and pour over "crust".
• 4 bake at 325°f for 40 minutes.
• 5 (it will still appear soft in the center).
• 6 let cool for 15 minutes and then sprinkle with icing sugar (i use a sifter to do this-for even spreading).
• 7 cut while still warm.
