Danish - Almond Filling

Total Time: 15 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 cup blanched almond
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 large egg , lightly beaten

Recipe

  • 1 put almonds, sugar and butter into food processor.
  • 2 process until almonds are finely ground, scraping bowl as necessary.
  • 3 add almond extract and 2 tbl of the beaten egg .
  • 4 process until mixed.
  • 5 stor in airtight container in the refrigerator until needed (up to 1 week).
  • 6 bring to room temperature before using.
