Ingredients

• 3/4 cup sugar
• 1/2 cup margarine, softened
• 2/3 cup shortening
• 2/3 cup evaporated milk
• 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
• 1 pinch salt
• 1 (18 1/2 ounce) box devil's food cake mix
• dark chocolate frosting (container)

Recipe

• 1 prepare cake mix as directed on box. pour batter into a greased 11x17 cake pan and bake 12-15 minutes at 350°f cool.
• 2 combine sugar, margarine, shortening, millk, vanilla, and salt. beat until fluffy (10-15 minutes). spread over cooked cake.
• 3 melt frosting in microwave for 20 seconds to soften. spread frosting over cream layer.
