Jam Cake

Ingredients

• 5 eggs
• 2 cups sugar
• 1 cup butter
• 3 cups flour
• 1 cup buttermilk
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1/2 teaspoon clove
• 1 teaspoon allspice
• 1 cup strawberry jam (or whatever you like)
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 cup chopped nuts

Recipe

• 1 cream butter and sugar, add 4 eggs.
• 2 sift flour and spices.
• 3 add soda to buttermilk.
• 4 mix dry and wet ingredents.
• 5 add jam, last egg, nuts, and vanilla.
• 6 bake at 325 for 40 to 45 minutes in a well greased angel food cake pan.
• 7 bake til tooth pick inserted comes out clean.
