Great Pound Cake

Ingredients

• 1 cup butter, softened
• 3 cups sugar
• 6 eggs
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 3 cups flour
• 1/2 pint whipping cream

Recipe

• 1 cream butter and sugar together. while beating sugar/butter mixture, add eggs, one at a time. add vanilla.
• 2 alternate adding flour and whipping cream until all are added. pour batter into greased, floured tube or bundt pan.
• 3 place in cold oven set for 300°f cook for 1 hour and 25 minutes. remove from oven and cool in pan for 25 minutes before removing.
