Lavender Cupcakes

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon dried lavender flowers
- 1/2 cup butter, at room temperature
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup self-rising flour
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar, sifted
- 1 egg
- lilac food coloring
- 12 sprigs of fresh lavender (optional)
Recipe

- 2 preheat the oven to 350°f; line a 12 count muffin pan with paper liners.
- 3 put the sugar and lavender flowers in a food processor. process briefly to combine.
