Ginger Crunch

Ingredients
- 4 ounces butter
- 4 ounces sugar
- 7 ounces flour
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 tablespoons icing sugar
- 2 teaspoons golden syrup
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
Recipe
- 1 cream butter and sugar.
- 2 add sifted dry ingredients.
- 3 mix well and press into a greased shallow tin ( 28cm x 18cm slice pan).
- 4 bake 20-25 minutes at 375f degrees.

- 6 put all ingredients into a saucepan.
- 7 heat until melted.
- 8 then pour over cake when hot.
- 9 cut into squares before it gets cold.
- 10 may double topping if desired.
