Ginger Crunch

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • 4 ounces butter
  • 4 ounces sugar
  • 7 ounces flour
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 tablespoons icing sugar
  • 2 teaspoons golden syrup
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger

Recipe

  • 1 cream butter and sugar.
  • 2 add sifted dry ingredients.
  • 3 mix well and press into a greased shallow tin ( 28cm x 18cm slice pan).
  • 4 bake 20-25 minutes at 375f degrees.
  • 5 ---------topping--------.
  • 6 put all ingredients into a saucepan.
  • 7 heat until melted.
  • 8 then pour over cake when hot.
  • 9 cut into squares before it gets cold.
  • 10 may double topping if desired.
