Gingerbread

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 3/4 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons ginger
  • 4 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon clove
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 cup maple syrup
  • 1/8 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/3 cup skim milk
  • 1 egg

Recipe

  • 1 combine dry ingredients(taste for spices, i usually end up doing a little more or less of each depending on how it tastes to me).
  • 2 add wet ingredients.
  • 3 pour into a 8 inch round cake pan.
  • 4 bake for 20 minutes at 375 degrees (or until toothpick comes clean when put in middle).
