Happy Cake ( Pound Cake )

Ingredients

• 3 cups cake flour
• 6 eggs
• 1 lb butter
• 2 1/4 cups sugar
• 2 teaspoons vanilla
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 cup buttermilk
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

Recipe

• 1 preheat oven to 325 degrees.
• 2 grease and flour a 10" bundt or tube pan.
• 3 in a large bowl, beat the butter.
• 4 add sugar, vanilla and eggs, mixing well.
• 5 add milk.
• 6 sift dry ingredients and add slowly to mixture.
• 7 pour into prepared pan.
• 8 bake 1 hour and 20 minutes.
• 9 cool in pan 15-20 minutes.
• 10 remove and finish cooling on platter.
• 11 serve with fresh fruit or lemon curd.
