Ingredients
- 1 (14 3/4 ounce) can salmon
- 1 egg
- 1/3 cup onion, minced
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 1/2 cups crisco shortening
Recipe
- 1 drain salmon, reserving juice. mix salmon, egg & onion until sticky. stir in flour. mix baking powder & reserved juice; add to salmon mixture, mixing well. fry in melted shortening until golden brown. drain on layers of paper towels.
