Grammy's Hot Milk Cake

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup milk, heated
• 2 eggs
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 cup flour
• 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
• 1 teaspoon vanilla

Recipe

• 1 heat milk (about as long as it takes for a tablespoon of butter to melt).
• 2 beat eggs until frothy, add one cup of sugar and beat wel.
• 3 add flour and baking powde (sifted). stir.
• 4 add scalded milk. beat well.
• 5 add vanilla.
• 6 pour into a greased and floured pan and cook at 375 degrees for 35 minutes.
