Dulce Zacatecano

Ingredients

  • Servings: 1
  • 3 large bananas
  • 5 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup heavy sweet cream
  • 1/4 cup dry sherry
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Recipe

  • 1 sliced peeled bananas lenghthwise. sautee in butter until light brown (they will smell wonderful). drain and set in shallow cake pan.
  • 2 spread a thin layer of sugar (not all!) evenly over bananas.
  • 3 whip cream together with remaining ingredients.
  • 4 spread cream on bananas.
  • 5 chill at least one hour.
  • 6 serve cold.
