Jam Crumble Cake

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon allspice
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup favorite jam
  • 3/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 3/4 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup old-fashioned oatmeal

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350.
  • 2 lightly grease 9" round cake pan or bundt pan.
  • 3 combine flour, salt,spices,baking powder.
  • 4 in separate bowl, whisk milk, eggs, butter, vanilla.
  • 5 whisk in dry ingredients.
  • 6 pour into prepared pan, and dollop jam over the top.
  • 7 swirl the jam into the top of batter lightly.
  • 8 prepare crumb topping:.
  • 9 whisk dry ingredients together, and then work in melted butter.
  • 10 drop by clumpies all-over the top of batter.
  • 11 bake 25-30 minutes, until sides start to pull from pan.
