Clabber Cake

Ingredients

• 1/2 lb oleo
• 2 eggs, beaten
• 2 teaspoons baking soda
• 2 cups buttermilk
• 2 cups sugar
• 3 1/2 cups cake flour (3 cups all-purpose)
• 7 teaspoons cocoa

Recipe

• 1 cream oleo and sugar.
• 2 beat in eggs.
• 3 sift flour with soda and cocoa.
• 4 alternately add dry ingredients and milk to creamed mixture.
• 5 bake in greased and floured pans at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.
