Ingredients

• 1/2 cup butter
• 1 egg
• 1 (18 1/2 ounce) box yellow cake mix
• 1/2 cup chopped pecans
• 1/2 cup chopped dates
• 8 ounces softened cream cheese
• 16 ounces powdered sugar
• 2 eggs

Recipe

• 1 mix butter, 1 egg and cake mix and press into bottom of 9 x 13 buttered pan.
• 2 scatter over cake mixture 1/2 cup chopped pecans and dates.
• 3 mix cream cheese with powdered sugar and 2 eggs.
• 4 blend well and pour over cake.
• 5 bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
