Cinnamon Streusel Cake

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1/2 cup nuts, finely chopped
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 package yellow cake mix
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees f.
- 2 generously grease 12-cup bundt cake pan.
- 3 mix brown sugar, nuts, and cinnamon thoroughly; reserve.
- 4 blend cake mix (dry), eggs, water, and butter in large mixer bowl on low speed, scraping bowl constantly, until moistened.
- 5 beat on medium speed, scraping bowl frequently, 3 minutes.
- 6 do not overbeat!
- 7 sprinkle reserved brown sugar mixture over batter; fold into batter 5 or 6 times for a marbled effect.
- 8 pour batter into prepared pan.
- 9 bake 40 to 45 minutes or until wooden toothpick inserted in center of cake comes out clean.
- 10 cool 10 minutes; invert on wire rack.
- 11 remove pan; cool cake completely.
- 12 sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired.
