Fruit Slab Cake

Total Time: 1 hr Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces margarine
  • 8 ounces caster sugar
  • 4 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 teaspoon almond essence
  • 10 ounces self raising flour
  • 4 ounces dried fruit
  • 2 ounces sliced almonds
  • 1 ounce cherries

Recipe

  • 1 cream margarine and sugar then gradually add in the eggs.
  • 2 fold in remaining ingredients, pour into loaf tin and bake at 350f for 1 hour.
