Ham Chowder With Sweet Potato Biscuits

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 2 1/2 cups pancake mix
  • 1/3 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup candied yams, rinsed and mashed
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 (15 ounce) can whole potatoes, mashed
  • 1 (10 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 (15 ounce) can corn
  • 1 cup cooked diced ham
  • 1 (15 ounce) can mixed vegetables
  • 1 3/4 cups milk

Recipe

  • 1 preheat the oven to 450.
  • 2 for the biscuits, mix all ingredients together to form a soft dough.
  • 3 place dough on flour coated surface and roll to coat. knead 4 times.
  • 4 roll to ½ inch thick and cut into 2 inch circles. bake 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
  • 5 meanwhile, combine all chowder ingredients in a nonstick fry pan and heat over medium, about 10 minutes.
