Ham Chowder With Sweet Potato Biscuits

Ingredients

- 2 1/2 cups pancake mix
- 1/3 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup candied yams, rinsed and mashed
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 (15 ounce) can whole potatoes, mashed
- 1 (10 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
- 1 (15 ounce) can corn
- 1 cup cooked diced ham
- 1 (15 ounce) can mixed vegetables
- 1 3/4 cups milk
Recipe
- 1 preheat the oven to 450.
- 2 for the biscuits, mix all ingredients together to form a soft dough.
- 3 place dough on flour coated surface and roll to coat. knead 4 times.
- 4 roll to ½ inch thick and cut into 2 inch circles. bake 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
- 5 meanwhile, combine all chowder ingredients in a nonstick fry pan and heat over medium, about 10 minutes.
- 6 place chowder in serving bowls and serve with biscuits.
