Make Ahead Pancakes

Ingredients
- Servings: 8
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg
- 1 1/4 cups buttermilk (or whole milk)
- 1/4 cup cooking oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Recipe
- 1 preheat a skillet over medium heat.
- 2 use a pan with a nonstick surface or apply a little nonstick spray. you can add a small amount of butter to the pan.
- 3 combine all ingredients whisk until smooth.
- 4 pour the batter by spoonfuls into the hot pan, forming 5-inch circles.
- 5 when the edges appear to harden, flip the pancakes.
- 6 they should be golden brown.
- 7 cook on the other side for same amount of time, until golden brown.
