Eggnog Pound Cake

Total Time: 1 hr 20 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 1 hr 5 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 1 (16 ounce) package poundcake mix
  • 1 1/4 cups eggnog
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg, freshly grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • 2 beat all ingredients together at low speed with an electric mixer until blended.
  • 3 increase speed to medium, and beat 2 minutes.
  • 4 pour into a lightly greased 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  • 5 bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour to 1 hour and 5 mintues or until a long wooden pick inserted comes out clean.
  • 6 cool in pan on a wire rack 10 minutes.
  • 7 remove from pan to wire rack and cool competely (about 1 hour).
