Easy Ginger Crinkles

Total Time: 34 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 14 mins

Ingredients

  • 18 1/2 ounces spice cake mix
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, ground
  • 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • sugar

Recipe

  • 1 in a large bowl combine cake mix and ginger.
  • 2 in a separate bowl combine eggs, oil and molasses.
  • 3 add to dry ingredients and stir until blended.
  • 4 dough will be sticky.
  • 5 shape dough into a bowl.
  • 6 cover and refrigerate at least 8 hours.
  • 7 divide dough in half.
  • 8 work with 1 portion of dough at a time.
  • 9 store the other half of dough in refrigerator.
  • 10 shape dough into 1 inch balls.
  • 11 roll dough in sugar.
  • 12 place 1 inches apart on lightly greased cookie sheets.
  • 13 bake at 375 degrees for 14 minutes.
  • 14 cool for 2 minutes on cookie sheets, then remove to wire racks.
  • 15 let cookies cool completely.
  • 16 repeat with remaining dough and sugar.
