Holiday Rum Eggnog Bundt Cake

Total Time: 1 hr 10 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • 1 (18 ounce) box yellow cake mix (2 layer size)
  • 1/2 cup sliced almonds
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 2 tablespoons rum or 1 tablespoon rum extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups eggnog
  • 1/4 cup melted margarine

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350°.
  • 2 grease bundt pan well.
  • 3 press almonds onto bottom of pan.
  • 4 mix other ingredients well, for five minutes.
  • 5 pour into pan.
  • 6 bake at 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in cake comes out clean.
  • 7 let cool for 10 minutes and then invert onto a plate.
