Honey Bundt Cake

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 4 eggs, separated
  • 1 cup honey
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup nuts, chopped

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350°f.
  • 2 in a large bowl, cream butter and sugar.
  • 3 beat in egg yolks one at a time, beat in honey.
  • 4 sift together dry ingredients.
  • 5 blend into creamed mixture alternately with sour cream.
  • 6 stir in nuts.
  • 7 beat egg whites until stiff and fold into batter.
  • 8 turn batter into a greased 9 inch tube pan or bundt pan.
  • 9 bake for 60 to 70 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
  • 10 cool in pan 15 minutes, then remove from pan to cool completely.
