Healthy Whole Wheat Bread

Ingredients
- 2 cups warm reconstituted powdered milk
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup honey or 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 (1/4 ounce) package yeast
- 2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 1/4 cups flour
Recipe
- 1 mix together milk, oil, honey, or brown sugar, salt, yeast, and half of each flour in an electric mixer bowl.
- 2 beat with mixer for 2 minutes.
- 3 add remaining flour and mix well.
- 4 place dough in well greased bread or cake pan that will fit in slow cooker.
- 5 cover with greased foil. let stand for 5 minutes, and place in slow cooker.
- 6 cover cooker, and bake on high for 2 1/2 - 3 hours.
- 7 remove pan and uncover.
- 8 let stand for 5 minutes, serve warm.
