Ice Cream Cake With Vanilla Wafers

Ingredients

- 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 (10 ounce) can evaporated milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 12 ounces vanilla wafers
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 gallon ice cream (we use vanilla, softened)
Recipe
- 1 grease 13x9 pan.
- 2 crush vanilla wafers, mix with melted butter (reserve 1 cup for topping).
- 3 press cookie crumbs in greased pan.
- 4 melt chocolate chips and combine evap. milk and salt.
- 5 pour over crust, freeze until firm (about 20 min.).
- 6 spread softened ice cream over chocolate layer, top with remaining cookie crumbs.
- 7 freeze until firm.
