Honey Bun Cake

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 20
  • 1 (18 ounce) box yellow cake mix
  • 4 eggs
  • 2/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1 (8 ounce) container sour cream
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 2/3 cup pecan pieces (optional)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Recipe

  • 1 mix well cake mix, eggs, vegetable oil, water, sour cream.
  • 2 in a separate bowl combine sugar, cinnamon (and pecans if used).
  • 3 spray 13x9 pan with pam spray.
  • 4 pour 1/2 of batter into pan.
  • 5 sprinkle sugar mixture on the batter already in pan.
  • 6 pour rest of batter on top of batter and sugar that are in pan.
  • 7 swirl a knife thru the batter.
  • 8 bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
  • 9 while cake is warm top with a glaze (mixture of powdered sugar, milk and vanilla).
  • 10 serve and enjoy!
