Fresh Lemon Glaze For Scones, Cookies - Biscuits And Cakes

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar (icing sugar)
  • 1 lemon, juice and zest of
  • 1/4 teaspoon edible lavender flowers, crushed (optional, or a teaspoon fresh lemony herbs such as lemon verbena or lemon balm, finely minced)

Recipe

  • 1 in a small bowl, whisk together the confectioner's sugar and the juice and zest of 1 lemon. stir in the lavender flowers or lemony herbs, if using.
  • 2 drizzle over warm scones, cookies/biscuits, or cakes.
  • 3 note: you may also use other citrus such as oranges or limes, in place or with the lemons.
