Easy Ghee Pancake

Total Time: 15 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon light brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon ghee

Recipe

  • 1 in a large bowl, combine all dry ingredients - flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
  • 2 stir vanilla extract into milk. pour milk into bowl of dry ingredients.
  • 3 add beaten egg.
  • 4 add ghee.
  • 5 using a wooden spoon, mix all ingredients. lumps are okay. do not worry about them.
  • 6 let the pancake mixture sit for about 5 minutes.
  • 7 heat a frying pan. put a little bit of butter to avoid pancakes from sticking to the pan.
  • 8 scoop 1/2 cup of the pancake mixture and pour into well-heated pan.
  • 9 turn it over when you start seeing bubbles.
  • 10 serve hot with maple syrup.
