Dulce De Leche Cream Cake

Total Time: 1 hr Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 (18 ounce) box yellow cake mix
  • 3 eggs (or as called for by your cake mix)
  • 1/3 cup oil (or as called for by your cake mix)
  • 1 1/3 cups water (or as called for by your cake mix)
  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/3 cup caramel ice cream topping
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/3 cup chopped pecans or 1/3 cup almonds, toasted

Recipe

  • 1 prepare cake mix according to directions for a 13 x 9 baking pan, cool completely in pan on wire rack.
  • 2 place sweetened condensed milk in a large, microwave safe bowl. micro on med. for 4 minutes, stirring half way through.
  • 3 reduce to med-low power, micro for 16 to 24 minutes, whisking every few minutes, until thick and light caramel color.
  • 4 stir in caramel topping. cool for 15 minutes.
  • 5 spread evenly over cake, cool completely.
  • 6 beat whipping cream in a large mixing bowl until soft peaks form. add sugar and vanilla, beat until stiff peaks form.
  • 7 spoon over cake, sprinkle with nuts.
  • 8 refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours.

Holiday Poke Cupcakes

Ingredients

  • 1 (18 1/2 ounce) package yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/3 cup oil
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 (3 ounce) package 4 serving size cherry gelatin (or any red flavor)
  • 1 (8 ounce) container cool whip topping, thawed
  • red food coloring or green food coloring
  • colored crystal sugar
  • colored sprinkles
  • crushed candy cane

Recipe

  • 1 prepare batter according to package directtions with the eggs, water and oil; bake as directed for cupcakes. (you can also use a cake mix for this recipe.).
  • 2 cool in pans 10 minutes. pierce tops with fork.
  • 3 stir boiling water into dry gelatin mix until dissolved; spoon over cupcakes.
  • 4 refrigerate 30 minutes. remove from pans.
  • 5 tint whipped topping with food coloring; spread over cupcakes. decorate as desired.
  • 6 store in refrigerator.

Easy Strawberry Shortcake

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup cut-up fresh strawberries
  • 2 teaspoons granulated sugar
  • pam® original no-stick cooking spray
  • 2 cups reddi-wip® original dairy whipped topping (5 seconds, about 2 cups)
  • 1/4 cup egg beaters® original, original
  • 1/2 cup dry cake mix

Recipe

  • 1 combine strawberries and sugar in small bowl; set aside. spray insides of 2 microwave-safe mugs with cooking spray.
  • 2 whisk together reddi-wip, egg beaters and cake mix in medium bowl. place half of the batter in each mug.
  • 3 microwave each mug individually on high 1 minute 15 seconds to 1 minute 30 seconds. invert each cake onto a plate. spoon half of the strawberries over each cake. top with additional reddi-wip and serve immediately.
  • 4 cook's tips: one fresh egg may be used in place of egg beaters. baking mix may be used in place of cake mix.

  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup ground almonds
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons almond extract
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1/2 cup toasted sliced almonds

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350°; prepare 12-cup bundt pan using butter and flour or baker’s joy; set aside.
  • 2 mix the flour, baking powder, salt, and ground almonds together; set aside.
  • 3 in a big bowl, beat the butter with 1 ½ cups sugar until light and fluffy.
  • 4 beat in the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups pioneer buttermilk baking mix
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla

Recipe

  • 1 beat eggs and vanilla with milk in small bowl.
  • 2 mix sugar with baking mix in large mixing bowl.
  • 3 add milk/egg to dry ingredients. stir till mixed well.
  • 4 ladle about 1/3 cups of batter into each well of the pre heated waffle iron. enough to cover the grids. close waffle iron and cook for about 5 minutes, or until golden brown.

  • 4 1/2 teaspoons flour
  • 3 teaspoons sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon cocoa
  • 1/8 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 dash salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/8 teaspoon vinegar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vegetable oil

Recipe

  • 1 preheat easy bake oven 15 minutes
  • 2 mix together flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder and salt. add vanilla, vinegar and vegetable oil. place in a greased toy cake pan. pour 1 tablespoon of water over batter. mix lightly with a fork but do not beat.
  • 3 bake 10 minutes.
  • 4 makes 1 serving.
