Ingredients

• 2 1/2 cups flour
• 2 teaspoons baking powder
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 2 eggs
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 cup milk
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 2 tablespoons butter

Recipe

• 1 mix together flour, baking powder, and salt.
• 2 in a separate bowl combine eggs, sugar, milk, and vanilla; mix well.
• 3 combine egg mixture with dry ingredients.
• 4 melt butter and add to batter, beating well.
• 5 pour into 2 greased 8-inch baking pans.
• 6 bake at 375 for 25-30 minutes.
• 7 serve warm or cold with strawberries and a little milk!
