Fresh Tomato Cake

Ingredients
- 1 cup dark brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 eggs
- 3 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups fresh ripe tomatoes, peeled, seeded, and chopped
- 1/2 cup nuts, chopped
- 1/2 cup dates, chopped
- 1/2 cup raisins
Recipe
- 1 cream sugar and butter.
- 2 add eggs.
- 3 add sifted dry ingredients, mixing well.
- 4 stir in tomatoes, nuts, dates, and raisins.
- 5 put into prepared 9x13 inch baking pan or bundt pan.
- 6 bake in preheated 350 f oven for 35 minutes, or until cake tests done.
- 7 frost with your favorite cream cheese frosting when cool.
